Thames Rowing ClubFrom 1949 to 1972, Thames RC was unusual in publishing an annual Journal. While mostly devoted to club matters it did include articles of wider interest to the rowing world, particularly in relation to the development of Great Britain's national rowing squad. As such it had a circulation beyond just club members. The Journal was initially edited by Reginald 'Swat' Swatton.
After a gap of 16 years the Journal returned, under the editorship of Izzy Grindal. The tone was now rather less formal and purely focused on the activities of the club. It continued in this form until 1995.
