This could be a misidentification. The signature on the back of the photograph is hard to decipher, but Francis Nickinson is a good fit given his date of election.

The photo is signed H Paul. Two brothers, Henry Paul and Hugh Paul, both insurance brokers living with their parents in Putney at the time of the 1871 Census, appear to have been members. Impossible to tell which the photograph depicts in the absence of additional evidence.
An inscription on the cover reads: 'PRESENTED BY THE LOSING TRIAL EIGHT 1869'.
